Ingredients
- 1.32 lbs sausage
- 0.88 lbs potatoes
- 1 bell pepper
- 1/4 cup white wine
- black olives
- rosemary
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Farmer’s Style Sausage
Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized chunks.
Wash the bell pepper, remove the stem, seeds, and veins, and cut it into pieces.
Cut the sausage into pieces.Heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large non-stick pan and brown the sausage on all sides.
Deglaze with the white wine, then add the potatoes and bell pepper, a handful of black olives, a bit of rosemary, and lightly salt the vegetables.Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for about twenty minutes over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
Remove the lid, prick the sausage, and gently stir to blend the flavors.
Let it cook for a few more minutes until the vegetables are tender, then turn off the heat and serve your farmer’s style sausage immediately, very hot.
