Fried potato gnocchi are an extremely tasty finger food, easy and quick to prepare.
Perfect for accompanying an aperitif, they are ready in minutes and are irresistible, one leads to another! From a brilliant idea by British journalist and presenter Nigella Lawson, they are perfect for using up that bag of ready-made gnocchi bought at the supermarket, forgotten in the fridge and about to expire, but nothing prevents you from making them with homemade potato gnocchi. They are delicious simply salted to your liking, but you can also add your preferred seasonings, from rosemary, paprika, oregano, or whatever you fancy and enjoy them accompanied by your favorite sauces (mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, etc.).
Read on to learn how to make fried potato gnocchi with the super easy recipe below, as usual, right after the photo 😉

- salt
Preparation of Fried Potato Gnocchi
In a deep pan, heat plenty of frying oil.
When the tip of a wooden skewer creates bubbles around it as soon as it is immersed in the oil, the oil is hot enough.Immerse a few potato gnocchi at a time, turning them often to ensure they are well browned on all sides.
Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with frying paper or kitchen paper to drain the excess oil.
Salt and serve immediately, your fried potato gnocchi hot.
