Grilled radicchio is an easy, quick, and very tasty side dish.
With very few ingredients always available in the pantry, you can prepare a perfect side dish for any main course, whether it’s meat or fish, or to accompany cheeses, light, healthy, and full of flavor. Radicchio is very healthy, rich in vitamin C, contains anthocyanins, beta-carotene, and iron, B vitamins, and vitamin K. It delays aging, lowers cholesterol in the blood, and detoxifies the body.
Read how to make grilled radicchio with the easy recipe you’ll find below, as usual, right after the photo 😉

Preparing Grilled Radicchio
Clean the radicchio and wash it well. Dry it and trim the base.
Cut it into wedges (or in half if the heads are too small) and place it in a baking dish.Season it with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Heat a griddle until hot.Place the radicchio wedges on it and let them cook for about ten minutes, allowing them to wilt, turning them halfway through cooking.
Serve immediately, very hot, your grilled radicchio, topping as desired with a little extra virgin olive oil and adjusting the salt.
