Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs veal stew
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup white wine
- vegetable broth (or meat broth)
- 2 leaves bay leaves
- rosemary
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Hunter’s Stew
Peel the garlic cloves and chop some rosemary.
Place them in a pot with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and let the garlic brown.
Add the pieces of meat and let them brown well on all sides.Deglaze with the white wine and let it evaporate.
Add the bay leaves and cover the meat with some broth, cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for about an hour over low heat, stirring occasionally and adding, if the cooking liquid dries out too much, a bit more broth or some hot water to prevent the meat from drying out.
Adjust the salt and serve your hunter’s stew immediately, piping hot.
