Ingredients
- 7 oz puff pastries
- 5 oz mascarpone
- 2/3 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- milk
Preparation of the Mascarpone and Chocolate Puff Pastry Parfait
In a large bowl, place the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and liquid whipping cream, very cold from the fridge, and whip everything with an electric mixer until you get a fluffy and firm mixture.
Add 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and fold them in with a spatula.
In a 5 x 8-inch baking dish, spread a little cream and then create a layer of puff pastries soaked in cold milk.Cover with a third of the cream and make another layer of puff pastries soaked in milk, then more cream, soaked puff pastries, and finish with a final layer of cream.
Crumble some puff pastries and sprinkle them on the dessert’s surface along with the remaining chocolate chips.
Let it rest in the fridge for at least an hour before serving your mascarpone and chocolate puff pastry parfait.
