Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs mixed ground meat
- 1.75 oz stale bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1.75 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- Half clove garlic
- milk
- 1 glass white wine
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Meatballs with White Wine
Crumble the bread and put it in a small bowl.
Cover it with a bit of milk and let it rest for about twenty minutes.
Squeeze it and place it in a bowl with the ground meat, egg, grated cheese, the minced half clove of garlic, and a pinch of salt.Mix thoroughly until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Form meatballs the size of a walnut.
In a large non-stick pan, heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Add the meatballs and brown them on all sides.Deglaze with white wine and when the alcohol has evaporated, cover the pan with a lid.
Cook on low heat for ten to fifteen minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove the lid and continue cooking until the cooking liquid has reduced and thickened.
Serve your meatballs with white wine hot.
