Tools

  • 1 Donut Pan Mini Donut Pan

Preparation of mini glazed donuts

  • In a large bowl, beat the egg with the sugar using an electric whisk until the mixture is soft and frothy.
Add the milk and vegetable oil while continuing to beat, then gently fold in the sifted all-purpose flour, potato starch, baking powder, and vanillin with a spatula, using delicate movements from bottom to top, until the mixture is homogeneous.

  • Lightly grease the mini donut pan and pour the mixture into it.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 338°F for about fifteen minutes, until golden.
Remove from the oven and let the donuts cool on a rack.
In a bowl, sift the powdered sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in a little hot water.

  • Stir from the center outwards, incorporating a little powdered sugar at a time and adding more hot water if necessary, until a dense, smooth, lump-free mixture is obtained.
Pour it over the donuts, covering them completely.
Let the glaze cool completely before enjoying or storing your mini glazed donuts in a tin or airtight container, away from heat and moisture.
