Mozzarella in carriage in the air fryer is a tasty appetizer, easy to make and very quick.
Dry and crispy, delicious and stringy, healthy and without frying, it is prepared in no time, with very little oil and easily and is perfect as an appetizer, to accompany aperitifs, but also as a delicious savory snack. Mozzarella in carriage is a typical Neapolitan dish, a recovery recipe for stale bread and mozzarella leftover from other preparations.

Ingredients
- 6 slices white bread for sandwiches (square)
- 5.3 oz mozzarella
- 3 eggs
- flour
- breadcrumbs
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Mozzarella in Carriage in Air Fryer
Cut the mozzarella into thin slices a few millimeters thick.
Cut the slices of bread diagonally to obtain two triangles from each slice.
Put some flour on a plate and coat each triangle of bread on all sides, shaking them to remove the excess.
Place some mozzarella on a triangle of bread, cover with another triangle and press with your hands to make it adhere.Prepare all the pieces this way, you will obviously get six.
Beat the eggs in a deep plate with a pinch of salt.
Place some breadcrumbs on a flat plate.
Dip the floured bread pieces prepared earlier into the beaten eggs, covering them on all sides, then into the breadcrumbs, making sure it adheres on every surface.Place the prepared mozzarella in carriage in the basket of the air fryer lined with parchment paper and spray the surface with extra virgin olive oil.
Cook at 392°F for ten minutes, turning halfway through cooking and spraying the other side of each triangle with some oil when you turn them.
Serve immediately, hot and stringy, your mozzarella in carriage in the air fryer.
