Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3.5 oz bacon (sliced)
- 2.8 oz smoked scamorza cheese
- 1 oz grana cheese (grated)
- 1 clove onion
- chives
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of the Omelette with Bacon
Heat a non-stick pan and brown the sliced bacon, then let it cool slightly.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, the grated grana cheese, and a little chives.
Chop the onion clove and dice the smoked scamorza cheese.Add them to the egg mixture, mixing thoroughly.
If you opt for pan cooking, leave the bacon in the pan where you browned it and pour the egg mixture over it, cover the pan with a lid, and let it cook for five minutes, then uncover, flip the omelette with the help of the lid, and cook for three minutes on the other side.If you want to bake your omelette with bacon, preheat the oven to 355°F, oil a baking dish, and arrange the browned bacon slices, then pour the egg mixture over it, leveling it. Bake for twenty minutes.
Serve immediately, piping hot.
