Pandoro Baskets in the Air Fryer

Pandoro baskets in the air fryer are delicious treats, easy and quick to make, perfect for using up leftover pandoro.

Of course, they can also be made with panettone, in the same way, delicious and irresistible, perfect for a snack or as a dessert, for both adults and children.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices pandoro (or panettone)
  • 7/8 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3.5 oz mascarpone
  • unsweetened cocoa powder

Preparation of Pandoro Baskets in the Air Fryer

  • Place the slices of pandoro on the work surface and flatten them by rolling them with a rolling pin.
    Place them in four aluminum molds, shaping, trimming, and pressing with your fingers to form baskets.

  • In a large bowl, pour the mascarpone and the still-liquid heavy whipping cream, well chilled from the refrigerator, and whisk them with an electric mixer until you obtain a thick and homogeneous cream.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 329°F, place the aluminum molds inside as soon as it reaches temperature, and let them cook for five minutes.

  • Remove them from the fryer, let them cool slightly, and gently remove the baskets from the molds.
    Fill them with the prepared cream, sprinkle with a little unsweetened cocoa powder, and serve your pandoro baskets in the air fryer.
