The mug cake is a particular type of single-serve cake cooked in the microwave in a few minutes, and it is as soft as a traditional cake. It is therefore ideal when you crave a sweet treat at any time of the day, from breakfast, to snack time, to after dinner, without turning on the oven and ready in a few minutes, with simple ingredients.

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons yogurt (Greek or plain)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon honey
- lemon zest (grated)
- Half teaspoon baking powder
- powdered sugar (for garnish)
How to Make Paradise Mug Cake
In a microwave-safe mug, combine the egg, yogurt, sifted flour and baking powder, honey, and a bit of lemon zest. Mix everything vigorously with a fork until you get a smooth mixture.
Place the mug in the microwave and cook at 800 W for four or five minutes (check the doneness after four minutes with a wooden skewer, which should come out dry when inserted into your paradise mug cake).
Garnish with a generous dusting of powdered sugar and serve the mug cake.
