  • 1 roll puff pastry (fresh rectangular)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 5 strawberries
  • 3.2 oz mascarpone
  • 3.2 oz heavy cream
  • powdered sugar

Preparation of Paradise Puff Pastries and Strawberries

  • Unroll the puff pastry on a work surface.
With a smooth-bladed knife, cut it in half parallel to the longer side, then cut each half into three parts.
Fold each piece obtained by matching two opposite corners to create triangles.
Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Beat the egg yolk in a small bowl with a little water and brush it over the surface of each triangle.
Bake in a preheated fan oven at 350°F for twelve minutes, until golden.

  • Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Meanwhile, wash the strawberries, remove the hull, and slice them.
Whip the well-chilled heavy cream from the refrigerator with the mascarpone and 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar using electric beaters until you have a thick and smooth cream.

  • Transfer it into a pastry bag with a star nozzle.
Cut the front part of each puff parallel to the base (see photo), gently open the puff pastry, and fill it with the prepared cream and a few slices of strawberry.
Finish your paradise puff pastries and strawberries with a dusting of powdered sugar and serve them.
