- 8.5 oz tuna in oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 chili pepper (optional)

Preparation of Pasta with Broccoli and Tuna
Bring a large pot of water to a boil for cooking the pasta.
Prepare the broccoli by breaking it into florets and rinsing it thoroughly under running water.
When the water boils, add salt and cook the broccoli florets for five minutes, then remove them with a slotted spoon and cook the pasta in the same water. In a large pan or wok, heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Add the peeled garlic clove and, if desired, a chopped chili pepper.
Add the boiled broccoli florets and stir to flavor them.
Add the drained and crumbled tuna and mix.Drain the pasta al dente (reserving a bit of its cooking water) and add it to the prepared sauce in the pan, tossing it and adding some reserved cooking water if needed.
Serve your pasta with broccoli and tuna immediately, well hot, drizzling with extra virgin olive oil to taste.
