Pasta with Potatoes and Ham

Ingredients

  • 11 oz pasta
  • 1.5 cups potatoes
  • 7 oz cooked ham (sliced)
  • 1 clove onion
  • 4 cups broth
  • 1 espresso cup white wine
  • sage
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Pasta with Potatoes and Ham

  • Clean the onion and chop it finely.
    Chop the slices of cooked ham.
    Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes.

  • In a large pan, heat a little extra virgin olive oil and let the onion brown.
    Add the ham, stir to flavor it, and deglaze with white wine.
    Let the alcohol evaporate and add the potatoes.

  • Add salt and a few ladles of already hot broth, a bit of chopped sage, and finally add the pasta.
    Cook it, gradually adding more hot broth as you would for risotto.
    When the pasta with potatoes and ham is cooked, adjust the salt and serve immediately, hot, stirring in some grated cheese if desired according to your tastes.
