Ingredients
- 11 oz pasta
- 2 cups potatoes
- 7 oz cooked ham (sliced)
- 1 clove onion
- 4 cups broth
- 1 cup white wine
- sage
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Pasta with Potatoes and Ham
Clean the onion and finely chop it.
Chop the slices of cooked ham.
Peel the potatoes and dice them.In a large pan, heat a base of extra virgin olive oil and let the onion brown.
Add the ham, stir to let it absorb the flavors, and deglaze with white wine.
Let the alcohol evaporate and add the potatoes.Salt and add a few ladles of hot broth, a bit of chopped sage, and finally add the pasta.
Cook it by gradually adding more hot broth as if cooking a risotto.
When the pasta with potatoes and ham is cooked, adjust the salt and serve immediately, hot, adding some grated cheese if desired, according to your taste.
