  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Portions: 8 Pieces
  • Cooking methods: Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Summer

Ingredients

  • 3 peaches
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • powdered sugar (for decoration)

Preparation of Peach Bread

  • Wash the peaches, peel them, and cut them into pieces.
    Blend them and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until you obtain a light and fluffy mixture.
Gradually add the vegetable oil while continuing to beat with the whisks, and then add the peach puree.

  • Incorporate the flour and baking powder.
Grease and flour a 9-inch diameter cake pan and pour the prepared mixture into it.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for thirty to thirty-five minutes: use the wooden skewer test to check the cake’s doneness, but only after the first half hour in the oven. If the skewer comes out dry after inserting it into the center of the cake, it’s done; otherwise, let it bake a little longer.
When it’s cooked, remove the cake from the oven, let it cool completely in the pan, and then transfer it to a serving plate.
Decorate your peach bread with powdered sugar as desired and serve.
