Peach puff pastries are delicious summer treats, easy and quick to prepare.

Peaches, puff pastry, honey and a few other ingredients create desserts that are crunchy outside, soft and delicious inside, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or as a delicate dessert, simple to prepare and very tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (fresh rectangular)
  • 3 peaches
  • honey
  • chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 egg
  • powdered sugar

Preparation of Peach Puff Pastries

  • Wash the peaches, remove the pits and slice them.
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    Spread a tablespoon of honey at a time creating eight spaced strips.

  • Sprinkle some chopped hazelnuts on top.
    Arrange the peach slices slightly overlapping on the honey strips.
    Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into eight rectangles.

  • Place the puff pastry rectangles over the peach slices, pressing to make them adhere.
    Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the pastry.
    Bake in a static oven at 356°F for about fifteen minutes, until golden.
    Remove from the oven, gently remove the peach puff pastries from the parchment paper, turn them over, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
