Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry (fresh, round)
- 3.5 oz speck (in a single slice)
- 3.5 oz mozzarella
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 0.7 oz grana cheese (grated)
- chives
- salt
Preparation of Puff Pastry with Mozzarella and Speck
Cut the speck into thin strips.
Slice the mozzarella.
Unroll the puff pastry and place it with all the parchment paper that contains it into a 9.5-inch diameter baking pan.Prick the bottom with the prongs of a fork.
Distribute the mozzarella slices on the bottom along with the speck strips, spreading them evenly.
Sprinkle with a bit of chives.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, then incorporate the milk.Pour the milk and egg mixture over the pastry and fold the edges inward.
Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 356°F for about twenty minutes, until golden.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve your puff pastry with mozzarella and speck.
