Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 3 1/3 cups milk
- 2 apples
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- ground cinnamon
- butter
- breadcrumbs
Preparation of the Rice and Apple Cake
Put the milk and rice in a pot and cook the rice, then drain it and let it cool completely.
When it’s cold, add the eggs and sugar and mix thoroughly.
Add a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and mix again.Butter a 9-inch diameter cake pan and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs.
Pour in the prepared mixture and level it.
Peel the apples, remove the core and seeds, and cut them into thin slices.Arrange the apple slices on the cake and bake it in a preheated static oven at 350°F, for forty-five, fifty minutes, until golden.
Remove from the oven and let your rice and apple cake cool completely before serving.
