Ingredients
- 1 cup ricotta
- 1 egg
- 0.35 cup bread crumbs (+ extra for coating the meatballs)
- parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Ricotta Meatballs in Air Fryer
Place the ricotta, drained from its preserving liquid, in a bowl.
Add the egg and mix into a creamy texture with a spoon.
Salt and add a bit of chopped parsley, mixing again.Add the breadcrumbs one tablespoon at a time, mixing until you get a pliable dough.
Spread some more breadcrumbs on a plate.
Take small portions of the mixture and form meatballs, then roll them in the breadcrumbs to coat them on all sides.Cover the bottom of your air fryer basket with a sheet of parchment paper and spray a light coat of oil on the paper.
Place the meatballs in the basket, spray a bit more oil on the meatballs, and cook at 356°F for twelve minutes, shaking the basket a few times to brown them on all sides.
Serve your ricotta meatballs in air fryer immediately.
