Ingredients

  • 14 oz sausages
  • 14 oz mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Sausage and Mushrooms in a Skillet

  • Peel the garlic.
    Clean the mushrooms, removing the dirt and roots and wipe them with a damp kitchen paper, then slice them.
    Heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet.

  • Let the garlic brown, then remove it and add the sausages.
    Sear them on all sides for five minutes, then add the mushrooms, season with salt and stir to flavor.
    Deglaze with the white wine, let the alcohol evaporate, then lower the heat and cover with a lid.

  • Let cook for ten minutes, then remove the lid and continue cooking just to evaporate any cooking liquid.
    Serve immediately, hot, your sausage and mushrooms in a skillet.
