Sautéed colorful Swiss chard is a tasty, light, easy, and quick-to-prepare side dish.
Colorful Swiss chard is rich in fiber and vitamins A and K, and abundant in beta-carotene, antioxidants, and folate. Simply sautéed with a few other ingredients, they’re flavorful and can complement any dish of meat, fish, eggs, or cheese.

Ingredients
- 1.75 lbs colorful Swiss chard
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 chili pepper (optional)
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Sautéed Colorful Swiss Chard
Remove the ends of the Swiss chard stalks, peel the strings, and wash them thoroughly.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and immerse the Swiss chard.Let them cook for fifteen minutes from the moment it starts boiling.
Drain them well.
In a pan, heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.Add the unpeeled garlic cloves and the chopped chili pepper.
Add the drained Swiss chard and let them soak up the flavors.
Cook until the cooking liquid has reduced, season with salt, and serve your sautéed colorful Swiss chard.
