Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs zucchini
- 1 red onion
- 1/4 cup white wine
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Sautéed Zucchini and Red Onion
Wash the zucchini, trim them, and cut into chunks.
Clean the onion and cut it into wedges.Heat a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a large pan and add the onion cut into wedges, let it brown for a few minutes, then add the zucchini chunks and cook on high heat for about ten minutes, stirring often.
Deglaze with the white wine and when the alcohol has evaporated, adjust with salt and let cook for another five minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve your sautéed zucchini and onion hot or warm, according to your taste.
