Ingredients
- 1 roll ready-made pizza base
- 14 oz potatoes
- 3.5 oz speck (sliced)
- 3.5 oz smoked scamorza (sliced)
- rosemary
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of the Savory Pie with Speck and Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and slice them into a few millimeters thick slices using a mandoline.
Gather them in a bowl, cover them with water, and soak for fifteen minutes, then drain and dry them.
Unroll the ready-made pizza base and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.Place the speck slices on the base, then add the smoked scamorza and cover everything with the potato slices.
Fold the edges of the dough below towards the filling.
Finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, season with salt, and sprinkle with some rosemary.Bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 392°F for fifteen minutes on the lowest rack of the oven.
Then switch to grill mode and move the savory pie with speck and potatoes to the top rack for a few more minutes to brown the surface to your taste.
Remove from the oven and serve hot.
