Preparation of Savory Yogurt Croissants Without Rising
In a large bowl, mix the flour with the instant yeast for savory preparations and make a well in the center.
Pour in the yogurt, the spreadable cheese, and the vegetable oil.
Mix starting from the center with a fork, gradually incorporating the powders, until all the liquids are absorbed.Add the salt and mix to incorporate it as well.
Transfer to a floured surface and knead until you get a smooth and elastic dough.
Divide it in half and roll out each half with a rolling pin into a thin rectangular sheet.
Cut many triangles with a smooth-bladed knife.Brush the sides of the triangles lightly with milk and roll them starting from the base to the tip to form the croissants.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Beat the egg yolk in a bowl and brush it over the surface of the savory croissants.
Bake them in a preheated static oven at 356°F for about thirty-five minutes, until the desired level of browning.
Remove them from the oven, let them cool, cut them in half, and fill them according to your tastes.
