Sicilian swordfish is a delicious second course typical of Sicily, easy and quick to prepare.

Ingredients
- 4 slices swordfish
- 8.8 oz cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons black olives
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 chili pepper (optional)
- oregano
- basil
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation of Sicilian Swordfish
Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
Peel the garlic and chop the chili pepper (if you decide to use it) into small pieces.
In a large pan, heat a base of extra virgin olive oil.Add the garlic, chili pepper, capers, and olives and let them flavor for a few minutes.
Add the cherry tomatoes, some oregano, and some basil, season with salt, and cover with a lid.
Cook for ten minutes.Add the slices of swordfish, placing them in contact with the bottom of the pan without overlapping them.
Cover again and let it cook for another ten minutes.
Uncover, turn the fish slices over to the other side and let them cook for another five minutes, so the cooking liquid reduces a little.
Turn off the heat and serve your Sicilian swordfish immediately.
