Stuffed dates are a delicious appetizer with a unique flavor, perfect for the holiday season.
Dates are one of the undisputed symbols of the festivities, and they are usually served with dried fruits at the end of a meal. The following recipe, however, with its unique flavor, sees them paired with spices, walnuts, and ricotta (or alternatively, Gorgonzola or another flavorful soft cheese like Robiola) to create in just a few minutes some tasty snacks to accompany the aperitif or to be included among the appetizers.

Ingredients
- 7 oz dates
- 3.5 oz ricotta
- 1.5 tbsp honey
- walnut halves
- ground cinnamon
Preparation of Stuffed Dates
Make a cut from one end to the other of each date and remove the pits.
In a bowl, mix the ricotta with the honey and a pinch of cinnamon until creamy.
Transfer the mixture into a pastry bag with a star-shaped nozzle and fill the dates.
Top with a walnut half, pressing it slightly into the cream, and let them rest in the refrigerator for an hour before serving your stuffed dates.
