The stuffed sandwich loaf is an easy and quick dish to prepare, a perfect dinner saver with a few simple ingredients.
It involves stuffing a loaf of sliced bread with ham and cheese and baking it in the oven with a few tricks to prevent it from drying out, but allowing the cheese to melt and the result to be tasty and irresistible.

Ingredients
- 13 slices sandwich loaf
- 5.3 oz cooked ham
- 5.3 oz scamorza (sliced)
- 2 eggs
- 3.5 tbsp milk
Preparation of the Stuffed Sandwich Loaf
Line an 18 by 8.5 cm (7 by 3.3 inch) loaf pan with a sheet of parchment paper. Arrange the slices of bread alternating them with ham and scamorza, removing the parts that protrude from the bread.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk until you get a homogeneous mixture, then pour it over the sandwich loaf, trying to distribute it evenly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) in static mode for twenty minutes. Remove from oven and serve your stuffed sandwich loaf.
