Stuffed Tomatoes in Air Fryer

Stuffed tomatoes in air fryer are a delicious vegetarian main course, easy and quick to prepare.

Tomatoes and a few other simple ingredients for a light and easy dish, ready in less than half an hour, perfect for summer, cooked in an air fryer, for family lunch or dinner, tasty and irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 5 tomatoes (large)
  • stale bread (the crumbs of three slices)
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • basil
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Stuffed Tomatoes in Air Fryer

  • Wash the tomatoes, dry them, and cut off the top.
    With a teaspoon or a corer, scoop out the inside and collect it in a mixer.

  • Chop the crumbs of stale bread and add them to the mixer with five tablespoons of breadcrumbs, a few basil leaves, the minced garlic clove, a pinch of salt, and a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
    Blend everything until you get a homogeneous mixture.

  • Stuff the tomatoes with the prepared mixture, then sprinkle them with a bit of breadcrumbs and place them in the basket of the air fryer.
    Spray the surface with a bit more oil and cook them at 356°F for fifteen minutes.
    Serve your stuffed tomatoes in the air fryer immediately.
