Tuna Flatbread

The tuna flatbread is a tasty one-dish meal, easy and quick to prepare.

Just a few simple ingredients for a dish that is ready in minutes, perfect for summer when you don’t want to turn on the oven and waste time at the stove! It’s perfect with homemade flatbreads, but also with those bought at the supermarket, stuffed and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads
  • 4.2 oz canned tuna in oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • spreadable cheese
  • mixed salad greens
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation of the Tuna Flatbread

  • Wash the salad greens and let them dry.
    Wash the tomatoes, slice them and season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Drain the tuna from the oil.
    Heat the flatbreads, one at a time, in a large non-stick pan for one minute on each side.

  • While they’re still warm, start filling them with spreadable cheese, spreading it generously over the entire surface.
    Add the salad greens, tomato slices, and half the tuna for each flatbread.
    Close them, cut in half, and serve your tuna flatbreads.
