It’s the ultimate homemade cake, easy to make and too good not to finish immediately!

This time I’ve made an apple and pear cake that gives a sweeter taste and more moisture to the cake.

Here are some other easy cakes to make:

  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Portions: 8
  • Cooking methods: Oven, Electric Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All Seasons, Fall, Winter

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 2 pears
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons rum
  • 1/2 packet baking powder
  • lemon zest
  • to taste butter
  • lemon juice

Tools

  • 1 Electric whisk
  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Springform pan

Steps

  • To make the apple and pear cake, start by slicing the apples and pears. Place them in a bowl and drizzle with lemon juice.

Set aside the bowl and take a larger bowl to create the batter.

Place the eggs and sugar inside and start beating them with an electric whisk. Then add the milk, flavors, and flour gradually.

Butter and flour a springform pan and pour the batter into it.

On the surface, place slices of apples and pears and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Bake the apple and pear cake in a preheated oven at 340°F for about 30 minutes.

If the cake browns too much on the surface, you can place a sheet of aluminum foil on top, but only after 20 minutes.

The apple and pear cake keeps under a glass dome for about 3 or 4 days.

Alternatively, in the fridge.
