We cooked Baked Prawns with a very simple recipe, without adding anything during cooking. If you want, you can sprinkle them with a sauce made of chopped parsley, oil, lemon juice, fine salt, ground pepper, and chopped garlic before baking them.
Since we used frozen prawns, I recommend letting them thaw completely before using them. If you need them for the evening, just take them out of the freezer in the morning, and they will be like newly bought.

- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Medium
- Preparation time: 30 Minutes
- Portions: 6 people
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 1.75 lbs prawns (frozen)
- to taste fine salt
- to taste olive oil
- to taste chopped parsley
- to taste lemon juice
Steps
Wash the prawns under water without peeling them. You can decide to cut off the whiskers and legs beforehand, or leave them on since you’ll remove them once cooked.
Now make a small incision between the head and the shell or slightly bend the head and use a toothpick to pull out the black intestinal thread. Dry them with a towel or kitchen paper.
Lightly oil the baking tray and then place the prawns on top; cook them at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes.
Once plated, remove the head and peel them. If you want, you can season them with a little oil, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and fine salt, or enjoy them plain, as we did.
