Baked Spaghetti Frittata

I find that baked spaghetti frittata is a complete dish, full of flavor and really delicious. It can also be used for a picnic or brought along for a lunch with friends. It will be a big hit!

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Cheap
  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Cooking time: 45 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 people
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Spaghetti No.5
  • 5 oz Mozzarella cheese
  • 3.5 oz Diced smoked bacon
  • 6 Medium eggs
  • 3 tbsps Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 1 pinch Fine salt
  • 3 tsps Coarse salt
  • 1 pinch Ground black pepper
  • as needed Butter spray (non-stick spray for pans)
  • 0.5 oz Butter

Preparation

  • Place the diced bacon and mozzarella in a bowl.

In the meantime, put plenty of water in a pot, once it boils, add the coarse salt and spaghetti.

Drain them about two minutes before the cooking time is up, put them in a container, season with the butter, and add them to the cheese and bacon mix.

In another bowl, place the eggs with the fine salt, pepper, and grated cheese, beat them well with a whisk, and add them to the spaghetti.

Mix well to combine the ingredients using two forks.

Spray the inside surface of a 10-inch springform cake pan with the non-stick butter spray.

Place the seasoned spaghetti inside and bake at 356°F (180°C) for 15 minutes in static mode and for 20 minutes with a fan.

Notes

You can choose to add any ingredients you prefer to your frittata. I recommend using mozzarella cheese, which is less watery.

Great recipe for leftovers, ideal to use up spaghetti from the day before.
