- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 4 servings
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 2.2 lbs Chicken breast slices
- 9 oz Bacon slices
- 7 oz Emmenthal slices
- as needed Olive oil
- to taste Fine salt
Preparation
Place the chicken breast slices on the kitchen counter, you can slightly pound them if you want to make them thinner.
Now fill them first with a slice of cheese and then place the bacon slice on top.
Roll up the slice and secure it with a toothpick.
Put a little oil in a large pan and place your rolls inside, lightly salt.
Now cook for 10 minutes with the lid on low heat.
Then remove the lid, raise the heat and cook for another 10 minutes.
Lightly brown them and serve hot
Tips/Advice
Use little salt, as bacon is already flavorful and you risk oversalting.
You can get creative by filling your rolls with any deli meats and cheeses you prefer, as long as the cheese is hard, otherwise, it would completely melt.
