The Coffee Tiramisu, a classic of Italian cuisine, loved for its sweetness and softness, delicate thanks to the soft mascarpone cream and enhanced by the strong taste of coffee!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 30 Minutes
- Portions: 12 servings
- Cooking methods: No-cook
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 17.6 oz Ladyfingers
- 17.6 oz Mascarpone
- 5 Eggs (medium)
- 5 coffeemakers (for 3 cups)
- 4.2 oz Sugar
- 2.8 oz chocolate (shaved)
- 1.1 oz sprinkles
Preparation
Prepare the mascarpone cream by starting with separating the yolks from the whites.
Put the yolks in a bowl and beat them well with a whisk together with 120 grams of sugar. Add the mascarpone and continue with the whisk until you get a frothy and uniform mixture.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and add them to the mixture, mixing gently from bottom to top with a spatula.
Take a container for 12 servings (dimensions: 15.6×13.2×2 inches, capacity 5 liters). Dip the ladyfingers in warm coffee, both on top and bottom, and place them in the container with the sugared side up.
Cover with a layer of mascarpone cream, make another layer of dipped ladyfingers and another layer of cream.
For decoration, I added shaved chocolate and sprinkles. Let it cool in the fridge for at least one hour.
