Ingredients
- 1 lb Green Beans
- 4 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Gomasio (leveled tablespoons)
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
- 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Coarse Salt
- 1 pinch Chili Powder
Preparation
Clean the green beans and blanch them for 1 minute in boiling salted water. Drain them and let them dry on a towel for a few minutes.
In a wok, heat the vegetable oil and as soon as it’s hot, add the green beans. Cook them on high heat for about 5 minutes, then lower the heat and add the soy sauce, sesame seeds, sugar, vinegar, the gomasio (for more information and the recipe click on the link), the chili powder, stir well, cook for one or two minutes, and serve.
Tips/Advice
Gomasio is a mix of fine salt and sesame seeds. If you don’t have it at home, you can easily use these two ingredients.
