Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 3 teaspoons maple syrup
- 2 strawberries (cut into small pieces)
- 1 wafer (vanilla flavored)
- 3 teaspoons light cherry jam (and black cherries)
Steps
Place the yogurt in a bowl.
Add two teaspoons of maple syrup and mix well.
Cut the strawberries into small pieces and add them to the yogurt. I found wild strawberries and used those.
Now put it in the freezer for about two hours. Check it occasionally, it should not be completely frozen.
Take it out of the freezer and try to break the ice pieces with a spoon. Stir until it is soft but not completely melted.
Add one teaspoon of maple syrup.
Mix well and put it back in the freezer for about half an hour. It may take less time, it should solidify but not freeze.
Cover the surface with jam, I used sugar-free cherries and black cherries.
Crumble a vanilla wafer on top. I cut it into small triangles.
If you prefer it colder, you can put it back in the freezer for a bit, otherwise enjoy it as is, it’s delicious!
