Ingredients
- 4 slices white sandwich bread (crust removed)
- 4 slices cooked ham
- 4 slices emmental cheese
- to taste ketchup
- to taste balsamic vinegar
Preparation
Divide the sandwich bread into two equal parts lengthwise.
Using a pastry cutter with a diameter of 4.5 inches, mark a crescent on the sandwich bread.
Using a knife, cut off the excess part of the bread. Cut three small rectangles at the bottom to resemble the bottom of a ghost’s sheet.
Fill with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. You can enjoy them as is or heat them in the oven (like toast). If you prefer, you can vary the ingredients: a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce, mayonnaise, cured ham, mozzarella, in short, you can use the ingredients you prefer.
If you want, you can seal the edges using the tines of a fork.
In a bowl, put a tablespoon of ketchup and a little balsamic vinegar, using a brush soaked in this sauce, decorate the sandwiches with eyes and a mouth.
