We really enjoyed these Glass Cups with Cantucci Crumble, Vin Santo, Yogurt, and Peaches. On vacation, you don’t have many tools to make desserts, often not even an oven, so you have to organize as best as you can. During a vacation in Tuscany, I bought some excellent Cantucci and some exquisite Vin Santo, so this idea came to me.
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 2 servings
- Cooking methods: No cooking
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 10 cookies (cantucci, about 2.8 oz)
- 150 ml yogurt (peach flavored)
- 3 tablespoons Vin Santo
- 1 nectarine (about 3.5 oz)
Preparation
Take the cantucci and put them in a transparent bag (freezer bags work well).
Use a glass to crush the cantucci into pieces, but not too fine, slightly coarse.
Place the crumbled cantucci in a glass, add the Vin Santo, and mix well with a spoon, let it soften for a few minutes
Now start layering in the glasses, first the layer of cantucci, then the peach-flavored yogurt.
Now add the peaches that have been previously washed, peeled, and cut into small pieces.
Make another layer of cantucci, one of yogurt, and the final layer of peaches.
Put in the fridge for at least an hour and enjoy your crumble.
Tips/Advice
You can adjust the amounts of the ingredients, depending on whether you prefer more crunch, more yogurt, or more fruit, of course, this depends on your taste.
