I love fried potatoes, but they often feel heavy, so I looked for a way to make them lighter yet still flavorful. Try the grilled potatoes and you’ll see it benefits both your waistline and your taste buds. I seasoned them with fresh rosemary, but you can use flavors to your liking, such as sage or oregano.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 2 servings
- Cooking methods: Stove
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 7 oz potatoes
- to taste fine salt
- to taste rosemary
Preparation
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, slice them thinly without removing the skin.
Heat a grill well, grease it lightly with oil, place the potatoes on it, and season with rosemary. Cook for about 4/5 minutes on each side over medium heat until they are nicely golden and crispy.
We turn them with tongs, we find it more convenient, and remove them when they feel crispy to the touch.
Place the potato slices on a plate and salt them. I recommend not salting them while cooking, otherwise, they will remain softer.
