Ham and Cheese Pie

The Ham and Cheese Pie is a single dish full of flavor and taste that will please everyone!

Ingredients

  • 1 Puff pastry
  • 8.8 oz Prosciutto crudo
  • 2 125 g Mozzarella
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • 3 tbsps Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 1 tsp Fine salt
  • 1 tsp Ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Cover a round cake pan with parchment paper and lay the puff pastry on top.
    Place a layer of prosciutto crudo, sliced mozzarella, and a tablespoon of grated Parmigiano. Repeat with the prosciutto, mozzarella, and prosciutto again.
    Beat the eggs with the milk, salt, pepper, and a tablespoon of Parmigiano. Pour the mixture into the pan and sprinkle everything with grated Parmigiano.
    Fold the edges of the pan inwards and place in the oven at 356°F for 40 minutes.

Notes

To avoid it becoming watery, I recommend using block mozzarella, which is much drier.
