I love the Hazelnut Cookies Coated with Corn Flakes, they’re really like cherries, one leads to another. I like their soft interior, contrasted by the crunchiness of the corn flakes on the outside. Truly delicious thanks to the fragrant and tasty hazelnut aroma!

- Cooking time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 16/18 cookies
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 2.1 oz Hazelnuts
- 0.4 cups All-purpose flour
- 5.5 tbsps Butter
- 0.4 cups Sugar
- 3.2 cups Corn flakes
- 1 Eggs (medium)
Preparation
Remove the shell from the hazelnuts with a nutcracker, put them in a mixer, and chop them until they become like flour.
Put 1.4 oz of corn flakes in the mixer, chop them until they become very fine.
Place the butter, left out of the fridge for at least half an hour and cut into small pieces, along with the sugar in a bowl, and mix them well with a spatula until the ingredients are well combined.
Add the flour, chopped hazelnuts, egg, chopped corn flakes, and mix well.
Form the cookies with your hands (about 0.7 oz each) and roll them in 1.8 oz of corn flakes, which you will have put in a bowl, trying to make them stick to the surface.
Place the cookies on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 356°F for 20 minutes.
Notes
With these amounts, you will get about 16/18 cookies, each weighing about 0.6/0.7 oz. If you want lighter cookies, you can reduce the amount of butter to 2.1 oz and sugar also to 2.1 oz.
