Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread (without crust)
  • 4 teaspoons fresh spreadable cheese
  • 9 cherry tomatoes (of different colors)
  • to taste fine salt
  • to taste olive oil
  • to taste dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons pesto

Steps

  • Using a cookie cutter about 4 inches in diameter, cut out circles from the crustless white bread.

  • Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes, selecting different colors.

  • Season them with a bit of oil, salt, and oregano.

  • Spread the cheese over the white bread, covering the entire surface.

  • Now arrange the seasoned cherry tomatoes on top, alternating colors.

  • Put a teaspoon of pesto in the center, preferably homemade. You can find the recipe here if you want to try making it at home.

  • To create the flower effect, I added fennel stalks and leaves. Now enjoy them, a quick, colorful, and super tasty appetizer.
