With these hot days, the desire to cook is at a minimum, but this Oriental Flavor Rice Salad is really easy and quick to prepare. You just need to cook the rice, then add the ingredients and the sauce that makes the dish special!

Ingredients
- 6 oz rice
- 3 mozzarella (each 4.5 oz)
- 2.8 oz green olives
- 4.2 oz carrots (already cleaned)
- 4 sausages (each 0.9 oz)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon miso
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Steps
Cook the rice in a pot with salted water following the package instructions. Drain it and cool it with a stream of fresh water.
Place the now cold rice in a bowl, add the diced mozzarella.
Wash the carrots, peel them, and slice them thinly with a peeler. If the slices are too long or too wide, cut them into smaller pieces.
Add the carrots to the rice.
Now drain the olives from their water and place them in the bowl. I cut them in half, but you can also leave them whole if you prefer.
Finally, slice four sausages and add them to the rice salad.
Now put all the ingredients for the sauce in a jar and shake well!
Pour the sauce into the bowl and mix well to distribute it evenly over the entire rice salad.
Put it in the fridge for a few hours, it is definitely better when cold during hot weather!
You can also enjoy it at the beach or during a picnic.
Suggestions, Tips
I added the sausages, but you can omit them if they are not to your liking.
You can adjust the sauce according to your taste, adding more soy sauce or more miso if you prefer.
