Oven-Baked Potatoes with Smoked Paprika are a really simple side dish to prepare, with a unique and special taste. Don’t be fooled by the term paprika, it is not spicy at all.

Ingredients

  • 3.3 lbs potatoes
  • 3 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • 6 leaves sage
  • 0.25 cups olive oil
  • 6 pinches fine salt

Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes, peel them, and cut them into medium-sized pieces.

    Place them in a baking dish with a diameter of 12 inches.

  • Season with oil, salt, and add the rosemary and sage.

  • Now add the smoked paprika, mix well to flavor each piece.

  • Bake at 356°F for about an hour, placing the dish on the lower oven rack.

    Occasionally open the oven door and stir well.

Smoked Paprika is a spice with a special taste that comes from a chili pepper dried on precious woods. It’s suitable for flavoring sauces or gravies, but it can also be used on meat and fish.
