Oven-Baked Salted Pork Loin is prepared with few ingredients, in this case just two, but I guarantee you’ll get a really amazing flavor with this dish. It’s an easy dish to prepare, the important thing is not to overcook it, but to try to keep the inside slightly pink.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Affordable
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Cooking time: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
- Portions: 4 servings
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 2.2 lbs Pork Loin
- 4.4 lbs Coarse Salt
Instructions
Take a deep baking tray, the diameter will obviously vary depending on the size of the meat.
Place a layer of salt on the bottom, lay the pork loin on top, and then cover it completely with the remaining salt.
Bake at 284°F for about 75 minutes.
It will be ready when you see the salt starts to detach from the meat.
Remove from the oven, crack the salt on the surface with a spoon.
Remove it from the salt, place it on a plate, and slice with a sharp knife.
It will be juicy and tender.
Notes
Oven-Baked Salted Pork Loin is excellent served with sauces of your choice. The Chestnut Sauce is great, which you can find here.
