Pan-fried Yellow and Green Zucchini Sticks are super quick to prepare, super tasty, and very simple. Just cut the zucchini into matchsticks to make this really appetizing side dish, one leads to another.

Ingredients
- 14 oz zucchini (about two)
- 4 tbsps grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsps breadcrumbs
- 4 pinches fine salt
- to taste dried onion
- to taste black pepper (ground)
Steps
Wash and clean the zucchini.
Cut them into matchsticks. They should not be too thick or too thin, otherwise, they will either take too long to cook or become a bit mushy.
Place them in a bowl, add the breadcrumbs, two tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese, a bit of dried garlic, and two pinches of fine salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. I used my hands.
Pour a bit of oil into the pan, heat it, and then add the zucchini.
Try to arrange them on the bottom of the pan so that they cover it well, without overlapping each other. Add the remaining breadcrumbs from the bowl, a pinch of salt, and sprinkle them with a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese. Raise the heat slightly, being careful not to burn them.
When they become golden and crispy, turn them over, sprinkle with another tablespoon of Parmesan, a pinch of salt, and cook until golden. If you wish, you can add a bit of ground black pepper.
Tips and Advice
Pan-fried zucchini sticks are a tasty, quick, and super flavorful side dish.
To make them crunchier, raise the heat, but not too much, otherwise, they might burn. Check them often and turn them if you notice they are getting too dark.
