Pasta with Grouper Sauce is an easy and quick first course to prepare, with the taste and aroma of fish, which in my opinion makes it truly irresistible!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 30 Minutes
- Cooking time: 30 Minutes
- Portions: 4 servings
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 10.5 oz Penne Rigate
- 8.8 oz Grouper Fillets
- 14.1 oz Tomato Pulp (diced)
- 5 tsps Gomasio
- to taste Parsley
- to taste Black Pepper (ground)
- to taste Coarse Salt
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 pinches Salt (smoked)
- to taste Olive Oil
Preparation
Place the garlic clove in a pan with a little oil, sauté for a few seconds, add the tomato, and cook for about 10 minutes.
Dice the grouper fillet and add it to the sauce. Season with gomasio (for information and recipe click on the link), smoked salt (for information and recipe click on the link), parsley, black pepper, and cook for another 20 minutes.
In a pot with plenty of salted water, cook the pasta, drain it al dente, place it in the pan with the fish sauce, and continue cooking. If it seems too dry, add a little cooking water, adjust the salt, and serve hot.
Tips/advice
If you don’t have gomasio at home, you can use sesame seeds and a little fine salt instead.
Instead of smoked salt you can also use regular fine salt, but it will obviously lose a bit of flavor.
