- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 6 brioches
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry (rectangular, 9×12 inches, 9.5 oz each)
- 7 oz fig jam
- to taste sugar
Preparation
Take the two puff pastries, dip a kitchen brush in water and sugar, and brush the shorter right edge of the first puff pastry.
Now, overlap the other puff pastry, making sure the edges adhere well to form a single pastry.
Using the brush, spread the jam evenly.
Now roll up the pastry, quite tightly if you can.
Cut the obtained roll into 6 equal parts.
With a chopstick (or the handle of a wooden spoon), press the center of the brioche, raising the two sides.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
Tips/advice
If you prefer, simply spread them with previously heated honey or with sugar and cinnamon.
