Quick puff pastry croissants are ideal for breakfast when you can’t go out to buy them and don’t have time to make the long-rising dough. You can follow this recipe and get warm, fragrant croissants in just a few minutes!
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very economical
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Cooking time: 25 Minutes
- Portions: 12 croissants
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 1 Puff Pastry (round, 8 oz.)
- to taste Jam (fig)
Preparation
Divide the puff pastry into 4 equal parts by making two perpendicular cross cuts, then divide each piece into 2 triangles of equal size. This will give you 8 triangles and as many croissants.
Place two teaspoons of jam at the base of the triangle and roll up to the tip.
Place the croissants on the baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes at 350°F.
Notes
You can use different types of jam to your liking or chocolate or hazelnut creams if you prefer. To prevent the tip of the croissant from lifting during baking, make sure it is on the bottom part of the croissant, the part that rests on the baking sheet.
