Sausage and Cabbage in a Pan

Sausage and cabbage in a pan is a recipe we often enjoy at home because it is really flavorful and easy to prepare. Try it too; to make it heartier, we also add some sliced potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cabbages about 28 oz each
  • 3.3 lbs pork sausages (12 sausages)
  • 4 Potatoes
  • to taste Fine salt
  • to taste Ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes into slightly thick slices.

  • Clean the cabbage by removing the harder ribs and the tougher outer leaf parts, wash the leaves thoroughly.

    Cut it into strips and set aside.

  • In a large pan, add a little oil, then add the sausages, the sliced potatoes on top, and finally the cabbage strips.

    Cover with a lid and cook for about 30 minutes until both the cabbage, sausages, and potatoes are well cooked.

    Adjust with salt and pepper.

    If it’s too watery, let it dry for a few minutes at the end of cooking without the lid.

Tips/Advice

If the sausages are too thick, you can cut them in half lengthwise.
